Data privacy notice

Fundamentals

The purpose of this Data Privacy Notice is to inform the users of this website about the nature, extent and purpose of the recording and use of personal data by the website owner.

A-XIOM Solutions takes your data privacy very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations.

Since new technologies and the continuous development of this website may result in changes to this Data Privacy Notice, we recommend that you re-read the notice at regular intervals.

Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 of the General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR).

Access data

A-XIOM Solutions, the website owner or operator, collects data on access to the website based on our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 letter f. of the GDPR).

When accessing the portal, various access details (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, name of the called file, etc.) are stored.

No personal analysis takes place. For statistical purposes, data are analysed anonymously, for example to determine how many times the portal is accessed over the course of one day.

This information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed outside of the site provider or made available to other third parties, unless the provider is required to do so by applicable law and in particular by the relevant law enforcement authority.

Reach metrics via cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymised reach measurement, which are transferred to the user’s browser either from our server or the server of third parties. Cookies are small files that are stored on your end device. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies makes the website more secure and user friendly.

If you do not want cookies for reach metrics to be stored on your end device, you can disable them through the following links

Common browsers offer an option in their settings to block cookies. Please note: if you change these settings, there is no guarantee that you will continue to have unrestricted access to all functions of this website.

Recording and processing of personal data

A-XIOM Solutions records, uses and only shares personal information if this is legally allowed and you opt into data gathering.

Personal information is taken to mean all information that serve to identify you as a person and which can be traced back to you, such as your name, e-mail address and phone number.

You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. To improve our online offering, however, we store your access data to this website (without personal reference). These access details include, for example, the file you requested or the name of your Internet provider. Anonymising the data makes it impossible to draw conclusions about your person.

We process personal data such as first name, last name, IP address, e-mail address, place of residence, postal code and contents from the contact form.

We process personal data only with the express permission of the users concerned and in compliance with the applicable data privacy regulations.

Personal data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and optimising our online offering.

Handling contact data

If you contact us as a website owner through the contact options offered, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and respond to your enquiry. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Google Analytics

Due to our legitimate interests, this website uses for the optimisation and analysis of our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f. of the GDPR the “Google Analytics” service, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses “cookies” – text files which are stored on your end device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google LLC complies with European data privacy law and is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

IP anonymisation is used on this website. The IP address of users will be truncated within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other signatory states to the agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address initially transmitted in full to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This truncation eliminates the personal reference to your IP address. The user’s IP address transmitted by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.

As part of the data processing agreement that we, as website operator, have concluded with Google Inc., Google uses the information collected to evaluate the use of the website and website activity and to provide services connected with the use of the Internet.

The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to analyse the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on the activity on the website in order to improve our online offering.

You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will have unrestricted access to all functions of this website if your browser does not allow cookies.

In addition, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link takes you to the relevant plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Alternatively, by clicking on this link, you prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you on this website. By clicking on the link above, you can download an "Opt-Out Cookie". Your browser must therefore allow cookies to be stored. If you delete your cookies regularly, you will need to click on the link again each time you visit this website.

You can find more information on how Google Inc. uses your data here:

Google reCAPTCHA

On this website we also use the reCAPTCHA function of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). This function is primarily used to distinguish whether an input is made by a natural person or is abused by machine and automated processing. The service includes the sending of the IP address and, if applicable, other data required by Google for the service reCAPTCHA to Google and is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in determining individual ownership on the Internet and avoiding abuse and spam.

In the context of the use of Google reCAPTCHA, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Further information on Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/

If applicable, you may also assert your right to data portability. If you believe that your data have been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Deleting data

Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to store data (e.g. data retention), you have the right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for their intended use and there are no statutory legal retention periods.

If deletion is not possible because the data are required for legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case the data will be blocked and not used for other purposes.

If you wish to correct, block, delete or obtain information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or if you wish to revoke consents given, please send an e-mail to the following address: info@a-xiom.com

LinkedIn

Our website includes plug-ins from the LinkedIn social network of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“LinkedIn”). You can recognise the LinkedIn plugins by the LinkedIn logo or the “Recommend” button on our site. When you visit our pages, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn “Recommend” button while logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the contents of our pages on your LinkedIn profile.

This allows LinkedIn to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. Details on data collection (purpose, scope, further processing, use) as well as your rights and setting options can be found in LinkedIn’s data privacy information: http://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
